By the way...let me tell you how devestated I was when I realized that I was wearing the same shirt I wore last time I took a picture in front of the Tower Bridge. You know what that means...I have gone though all my outfits and now you will start to see repeats. I don't think I did to bad, seeing as I have been here for 2.5 weeks!
Once again...more elephants! They are seriously everywhere! I found the cutest one yesterday, but didn't get a picture in front of it. I will have to go back and find it so I can show you!
I will be posting more information about my blog later for my class so I will just show you some highlights.
This is me on the "London Bridge". Not too exciting of a bridge especially for having songs written about it and for being so famous.
We then went to Borough Market. It is a HUGE food market with lots of tabels and stands just selling every possible food imaginable.
Kristen and I were hungry for some lunch and so we decided to split buying a loaf of bread. But we didn't have anything to put on it and so...we went around all the different tables and used the samples to put stuff on our bread. This included...cheese, marmalade, chocolate, oil and pesto but our favorite was JAM! We found this one stand we liked (it had strawberry vanilla jam, so good!) so we went back...A LOT! We were pretty sure the guy remembered us so we tried to be sneaky.
We were so happy to finally finish our walk! It took forever! We walked all the way from the Tower Bridge to Big Ben ( I know you don't know how far that is, but believe me...it is far!)
So, since it was Saturday we decided to go get a dessert. Kristen heard good things about this place called "Kensington Crepery", so we went there. There were 5 of us girls and so we split them.
This one had chocolate, strawberry, and other delicious goodness.
We then came back, did homework and thats about it. I was happy though because I did laundry and none of my clothes got ruined this time! (I washed all of my pants and so when we went to get dessert I wore a black skirt with a cardigan and sunday shoes. Ha. Never wait until everything is dirty to do laundry!)
Cheerio!
