The British Museum...Had Lost Its Charm!

Sorry for the scare everyone! We left on a 3 day trip to go to the West of England and we traveled on a coach (tour bus) and so I was without my computer and I forgot to tell everyone I was leaving! Sorry. School is picking up now and we have more trips coming up so I am going to have to blog fast and condense everything. Sorry!

So I will quickly finish up with what happened on Monday:
We had class and then went to the British Museum. (I totally started singing the Michael Buble song when we went in!). We saw the Rosetta Stone, the Englin Marbles (stones from the Parthenon in Greece) and some cool mummy exhibits.
We also reenacted the scene from Hercules at the beginning when the muses start singing.
We then came back, had dinner and then headed to Buckingham Palace. Kristen and I have been meaning to go and see it but haven't made time. So we finally went.


It was big and beautiful but I was a little disappointed...the guards were not wearing big red suits with the black hats (sad!) and they were behind the gate and so that meant I could not try to make them laugh. Dang it! But we had fun taking pictures and making wishes in the fountain across the street from the Palace.


Hopefully tonight I will post for the past 3 days and tell you all we did on our trip! It was amazing!
