So yesterday we went as a group to the "Tower of London". It was a really big and cool place with many towers and old buildings. We first went to the place where all the "Crown Jewels" are kept. It was so neat to see them and how beautiful they were. The diamonds, rubies and jewels were huge and SO expensive. (After we walked out an alarm went off and I thought for sure someone was trying to steal the jewels...but it was actually just the fire alarm). We then went to the White Tower where we went through and saw lots of armor, swords and other cool things they used back then. This is me and my Knight in shinging armor! An olden day toilet. Gross! This is me being beheaded...sad! After we went to other places such as the Bloody Tower and the Torcher Chamber! It is where the King killed his 2 nephews, where others were beheaded and other deaths took place. In the torture chamber they stretched people, crushed them or hung them. Great! I then got a picture with a guard! Cool! P.S. I totally saw him look the other way one time! What a horrible guard! After we went back for dinner and it was my last day of kitchen crew! YAY!!! We did a great job all week and so we got a Ben and Jerry's Party! YUM! We had been doing homework a lot that day and so Chelsea and I decided to go on an adventure. We were going to ride the tube to Big Ben to see it at night but the Circle Line broke down and so we had to transfer to the District line. After waiting a long time at a station we decided to bag that idea and to go to Kings Cross Station to find "Platform 9 3/4". When we got there we couldn't find it and so this is what happened:
Finally after lots of walking and dead ends, we found it! This is the process of me getting through to the train:
"Oh look! I am pushing my trolley through the wall!"
"Wait! This is not as easy as I thought! Push harder! Push harder!"
