Monday, Monday!

So on Monday I woke up and had classes again. They are getting better but they are just so long that it is hard to pay attention and really get anything out of the lectures. Class ended at about 1:30, I grabbed a PB&N (nutella) and then we headed off to a little tour around 2.
We took the bus there and it was so funny because there was about 25 of us students waiting at the bus stop for the bus. When it finally came it pulled up, it didn't even open its doors and then it drove off...without us! We tried to chase it down but it was too late! So we waited for another bus and that one was jam packed, plus adding 25 of us on. Not fun! This is us squeezed in tight on the bus. (One time I wasn't holding on tight enough and I fell over on a big group of people. Ooops!)The tour we went on was the "Appsley House", where the Duke of Wellington use to live. His name was Arthur Wellsley (no, he is not Ron Weasley's Dad from Harry Potter). It was interesting with lots of paintings.
I forgot to mention the coolest part of the tour. Our professor wore a headset that he could speak into and we all wore eat pieces so we could hear him narrate along the way as we walked and saw things (it totally reminded me of the "Lizzie McGuire Movie".)
We then went and saw a few statues in the park. Also in the parks (and all throughout London) they have big elephant statues. They are multicolored and painted. It is awesome. I guess they are selling them and raising money to help save the elephants. Weird.
We then went back for dinner and while I did kitchen duty, others went out and saw things. So I was able to meet up with a few girls and we went to a shopping place called "Primark". It is a HUGE store that has cheap, cute clothes but usually it is a zoo in there, with people changing in the isles and lines out the wazzoo! Let me show you some of my findings:

Don't be worried. I didn't buy any of them! I figured if I tried on the crazy stuff I would be less likely to buy it and spend money! Great Idea, Right?
To top off the evening we went to McDonald's and got a McFlurry. You are probably asking yourself right now, "Why a McFlurry, when you are in LONDON?". Well my friends, it is because here in Europe they have "Cadburry Creme Egg" McFlurry's. And so I felt it was justifiable. And by the way, it was delicious!

I am now caught up blogging (except for today) and so hopefully the posts will be daily from here on out! Love you all...and London!

Cheerio!
