Dia Uno

So I posted about how I got to London, but not what I did on the first day. Well once I got here I hit the ground running. We dropped off our bags, unpacked and went exploring. I first filled up my oyster card with money(which is what you use to travel on the tube. You have to swipe it everytime you get on and off the tube).

I went to see...everything...seriously. But, I had been traveling for the past 36 hours and so most of the pictures are not too flattering, so I will just show you a few. (I am sure by the end there will be hundreds of pictures of me next to every site, in every outfit I brought. So here are just a few of many).
My first time on the tube...a little frightening! But thankfully I did survive and I have mastered the tube quite quickly, if I do say so myself.
This is me and "Bennifer" (As Chelsea calls it...aka, BIG BEN!) It is really huge and hard to fit into pictures!
This is what is called, the "London Eye". It is basically a big Ferris Wheel but it is all glass (even the floor) and you stand up in it. SCARY! Many people here are trying to convince me to go on it...I am just not so sure. Maybe I will work up the confidence by the end of the trip to go. I will keep you posted!

At night we went exploring all over (including Shakespeare's Globe Theater...to be seen at another time) and one of the places we went to is this place, called the "Tower Bridge". It is NOT the "London Bridge", so don't break out into song. :)
This picture is kind of blurry because at night the flash doesn't work and without the flash it is blurry. But...I posted this for all you Harry Potter fans. This is called the "Millenium Bridge" and was featured in the Harry Potter movie! Woo Hoo!

We have church tomorrow and I am trying to get all my homework done tonight (I know, homework...in London...why??? Sad Day!) so hopefully I can fill you in on more of whats been going on! Cheerio!

P.S. I almost forgot my favorite picture of the day (Don't worry, I will be getting a better and cuter one, but this one will due for now). Next time though I will try to get a double decker bus in and then it will be a picture with everything London!
