How to Become More Cultured...

Yesterday I had class earlier in the morning because we had a concert to attend to that afternoon. After classes ended we headed to Wigmore Hall to hear a concert trio which consisted of a violin, cello and piano.

Our seats were all random and so I was sitting next to these funny, cranky, old ladies. The concert was really beautiful! It was so funny though because after every song they would stand up, bow, leave the stage, come back on, bow, leave the stage, come back on, and bow. It ususally happened about 3 times, each time. A little excessive if you ask me.

On our way we stopped by and grabbed a cookie that a bunch of us split. Less money and less calories! Yay!
After it was over we went for a class to the National Portrait Gallery which was required for our English class.

It is filled with paintings and scultpures of famous people including not only royalty but also famous scientists, authors and musicians. It was fun finding people we recognized and there was only one american...George Washington. When we got to him we put our hand over our heart and saluted him. I would have to say my favorite exhibit though was a room dedicated just to Prince Harry and Prince Charles! We definitly spent the most time in that room! ;)

Afterwards we rushed home for dinner and spent the rest of the night hanging out, doing homework and then catching up on sleep. We have had classes 4 days in a row here and we leave for a 3 day trip tomorrow, so sleep is always good to have.

I am also now realizing I am taking less pictures each day I am here. This is making me a little sad but I think it is because London feels like "home" now and so I don't feel the need to take pictures of everything I see and do, it is a nice feeling though. It will be sad to leave, and its approaching fast!
